Pasang Lhamu Sherpa Akita and Cira Crowell hold the 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘔𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯 Film banner together on the summit of Kanchenjunga (8,586m/28,169ft) on May 6, 2022, 4:28pm. With this phenomenal achievement, Pasang had summited Earth's four highest peaks: Everest, K2, Kanchenjunga and Lhotse (plus Makalu in recent weeks). It was the first 8,000-meter summit for Cira Crowell, who became the first American-born* woman to summit Kanchenjunga. (*Credit to Cleo Weidlich, a Brazilian-American who summited Kangchenjunga May 2011.)

Pasang and Cira have shared so many trails and several mountains together, including Cholatse (featured in 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘔𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯), and this vast, technical peak was an exponentially challenging and profoundly rewarding experience.
